With more than two decades’ experience in the welding industry, Joseph (Joe) Moore has extensive knowledge of

welding and cutting processes and procedures. In addition, his skills extend to industrial machinery and processes;

robotics; machining; stamping; laser; and oxy fuel cutting. Specialties include plasma welding and synergic Gas Metal

Arc Welding (GMAW) systems.

Joe’s career extends to every corner of the industry – valuable experience he now brings to Moore Weld Professional

Services. As a Production Manager, he oversaw manufacturing operations, engineering and quality control compliance;

created manufacturing and welding procedures; and addressed employee training and safety issues. As an Account

Manager, he evaluated customers’ welding quality programs and documentation, proposed improvements and provided

both technical support and employee training. As a Technical Sales Support Manager, Joe oversaw sales efforts

throughout the Southeast; provided welding and cutting technical support to District Managers as well as customers;

and evaluated customers’ welding quality programs and documentation, advising improvements.

An Architectural Engineering Technology major at Georgia’s Southern College of Technology, Joe furthered his

education with additional studies in Welding Technology and Electrical/Electronics. In 2008, he received both AWS

Certified Weld Inspector (CWI #08121881) and Certified Weld Educator (CWE #081201E) designations.
